We have been members of the vibrant Leon Valley community for over 60 years! Throughout the years, we have had a great number of baseball and softball players go on to love the game and play high school and college level ball.
In 2007, our Senior Softball girls won the Softball Little League World Series, making NWLL the first little league in San Antonio to win a Little League World Series!
Throughout the years NWLL baseball and softball divisions have earned many divisional district championships.
Our Fields:
Phillip Manwaring Field - Phillip Manwaring was a great player at Northwest Little League. At one point, he was coached by Joe Navarro and Jimmy Davenport, their motto was "leave everything on the field." Sadly when Phillip was in his teens he developed a tumor which ultimately claimed his life. His legacy lives on at NWLL.
Joe Navarro Field - Named after coach and parent volunteer, Joe Navarro was a wonderful community leader. He coached many teams and selflessly gave his time. Even after his children were grown up Joe Navarro continued to be involved in the league and help make NWLL better than when he found it.
Jimmy Davenport Field - Named after coach and parent volunteer, Jimmy Davenport. Davenport was known to encourage his players and give it all they got!
